Dell rolls out stylish Inspiron R series; starts at $449
Dell has just introduced its newest Inspiron notebook series. The Inspiron R collection will be available in three sizes and are targeted toward the student crowd.
Specs are simple, and the designs are flashy on these machines. The two major choices focus on size and color. The Inspiron R is built in 14-, 15-, and 17-inch sizes. Then there are the lavish hues to choose from: Mars Black, Promise Pink, Tomato Red, and Peacock Blue.
As for what details are under those bright hoods, expect a Intel Core i3/i5 CPU, up to 640GB of hard drive space, up to 8GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, a webcam and an optional 1GB ATi graphics card. To make things extra convenient and tech-friendly in the classroom, there’s the optional Intel Wireless Display technology to tack on as well. This way students and teachers can send their computer’s display to an HDTV equipped with a compatible receiver via Wi-Fi for presentations.
Pricing starts at $449, and all three sizing options will be available at Fry’s Electronics on June 25.
